If you don’t have symptoms that are consistent with a COVID-19 infection—such as a fever, coughing, and loss of taste and smell—you can simply walk in and request COVID-19 testing, or you can use our convenient online check-in system to reserve your spot in line. There’s no appointment required.

If you have a cough, you should remain in your vehicle when you arrive at our clinic and call (248) 942-5888 to request a coronavirus test. One of our friendly staff members will provide you with instructions.

We ask that all patients entering our walk-in clinic wear a mask and comply with social distancing guidelines.

What Types of COVID-19 Tests Are Available?

We offer several nasal swab tests designed to detect an active COVID-19 infection. These include:

  • Rapid antigen and rapid molecular tests, with results provided within minutes
  • Traditional polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing, with next-day results

If you have been given specific instructions from your employer or to meet travel requirements, make sure you have them with you when you visit our clinic. If you’re unsure of which test is right for you, our knowledgeable staff can help you make the best decision. If you’re experiencing symptoms, you may also wish to book a virtual consultation so you can discuss them with one of our certified medical practitioners before you visit our urgent care center. Some coronavirus symptoms are similar to flu symptoms, and we also offer flu testing at our walk-in clinic.

For patients who think they may have had a coronavirus infection and recovered, we offer serology testing, which involves taking a small blood sample. Positive results may indicate that you have some level of immunity to the virus.

Our rates are affordable, and we accept many health insurance plans. Contact Springfield Urgent Care today for more information about our COVID-19 testing services, or simply stop by our White Lake walk-in clinic during our business hours.
