Dr. Tressa Gardner
Dr. Tressa Gardner was born and raised in Michigan, focusing on her medical career across the state. After receiving her bachelor of science at Oakland University, she moved on to medical school at Michigan State University. She continued her experience during an internship at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI, then moving forward to her full residency at POH Medical Center in Pontiac, where she emphasized on Emergency Medicine. She is board-certified with the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, has participated in several professional organizations, and is currently a member of several acclaimed associations, including American Osteopathic Association and American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Gardner is proud to open and operate an urgent care center in Springfield Township and surrounding communities, bringing convenient and efficient healthcare – without the need for ER costs or appointments. A healthier, happier Michigan has been her primary goal throughout her education and career. Born, raised, educated, and works locally with her community, a perfect fit with Springfield Urgent Care!
Certified Physician Assistant
James received his Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical College of Ohio in 2002. He has had the privilege to spend his professional career in Southeast Michigan as a physician assistant with highly acclaimed board-certified physicians. James has a background in internal medicine, trauma surgery, critical care surgery, and emergency medicine. He and his family reside in Davisburg and enjoy being a part of the community. James partnered with Dr. Gardner to open Springfield Urgent Care to create an accessible, comfortable, and high-quality experience for patients in our local communities.
Shelley L. Littleton, PA-C
Born and raised in Michigan. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Central Michigan University in 1993. She practiced speech therapy until she returned to school to pursue a degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She received a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University in 2000. Since then, she has practiced in MI with expertise in Cardiology, Internal Medicine and Urgent Care Medicine. She resides in Davisburg, MI with her daughter, Reegan, and enjoys practicing in the community with neighbors and friends.
Danielle Flynn, NP
Danielle grew up in Mayville, Michigan and graduated from Mayville High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at Davenport University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She practiced as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine from 2013-2018. In March of 2018, Danielle completed her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner, through Purdue University Global. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her career experience includes Emergency and Urgent Care Medicine. She currently practices full time in the Emergency Room at McLaren Flint as well as Springfield Urgent Care. Danielle and her husband have three children. They enjoy watching their children participate in softball, baseball and cheer. She enjoys bowling, kayaking, and traveling. Stop into Springfield Urgent Care and say hello!
Brian Marsh, PA-C
Brian began his college career pursuing a biology degree at Eastern Michigan University, however, he ultimately landed in field of finance. Over the ensuing years he worked as a stockbroker, financial adviser, loan officer and a mortgage broker. His life changed forever when his son, and shortly thereafter his wife, were diagnosed with cancer. He returned to school determined to practice medicine for a more meaningful life and to make his community a better place. He obtained a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University and has happily practiced medicine since that time. He is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of several professional organizations including the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Society for Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants.
Dr. Michael Doyle
Dr. Doyle was born and raised in Michigan. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and medical degree from Kansas City University College of Medicine and Biological Science. He then returned to Michigan for his post graduate training at McLaren Oakland (formerly known as POH Medical Center). Following completion of his post graduate training, Dr. Doyle began working in the Emergency Department and held positions as Director of Emergency Services and Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program during his time there. Dr. Doyle also serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Specialties at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Doyle is board certified in Emergency Medicine and has done multiple presentations and publications.
He lives in Clarkston with his wife and two golden retrievers. They enjoy all outdoor activities, especially gardening and trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Michael Beckley, PA-C
Mike grew up in Linden, Michigan and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from Michigan State University. He received a Master’s of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University in 2007. Mike practiced in Family Medicine before spending the last 12 years in the Emergency Room at McLaren and Beaumont Hospitals. He and his family live in Clarkston and he joined Springfield Urgent Care in 2020 to continue caring for his community. He enjoys coaching his 2 boys and spending his free time with the Whipple Lake Yacht Club.
